Quiz result · What kind of AI builder are you?
The Weekend Tinkerer
Short sessions, big ideas, and limits that rarely get in the way.

What this says about you
You build for the joy of it: an evening here, a Saturday morning there, short focused sessions on whatever caught your eye. You’ll hit a limit occasionally, usually on the one weekend you finally go deep, but most weeks the allowance is far bigger than what you use.
That means the cheapest plan that includes your tool is almost certainly the right one. Your real enemy isn’t the limit. It’s coming back to a three-day-old session and paying to reprocess all of it.
Your plan, honestly
Claude Pro is very likely enough, and for Codex the ChatGPT plan you already have may be. OpenAI includes Codex with ChatGPT Free, Go and Plus. If a rare limit lands on a weekend, wait for the reset or use usage credits for an hour rather than upgrading.
This is our rule of thumb, not official advice, and it doesn’t promise a quota: neither Anthropic nor OpenAI publishes a fixed number of messages. See Claude Max vs Pro for the details.
Two tips that fit
- Start fresh rather than resume. On a subscription the main conversation’s cache lasts an hour. Picking up a long session days later reprocesses the whole thing; a fresh session with a short summary is cheaper.
- Let the reset do the work. If you hit a session limit, the message tells you when it clears and Claude Code can continue on its own. That’s a good moment for a walk.
Your Quotchi feature: Notify me when it’s back
Quotchi is Free for the everyday: limits and reset times in the menu bar, native widgets, and “Notify me when it’s back” reminders, so a limit never costs you more than a notification.
